Fitness startup founder takes a working AI trainer to investors
A fitness startup founder had an idea for a 3D trainer on a holographic display, and no spec. We built yoga, chess and dance modules that run on the device, so the demo works with no internet.

Before and after
He had an idea, a holographic display and a funding round coming. The next round wanted to see it work.

| Investor demo | An idea, a holographic box and no spec | Yoga, chess and dance running on the box, offline |
What we built
- Live yoga correction. A camera reads the body and checks each joint angle against a reference.
- A dance module. It scores 20 steps in order.
- A chess module. It follows the moves and reads the player's mood.
- Runs on the device. Everything works offline, so the demo runs in any room.
- Shaped as we built. There was no spec at the start, so it took shape call by call.
How it works
- The camera on the box reads the bodyYOLOv11 pose estimation
- Each joint angle is checked against the target tablePython angle rules
- A wrong joint gets a spoken cueVoice
- The avatar shows the pose, all on the device with no internetThree.js avatar
What broke and how we fixed it
What broke
Correct yoga poses flashed red. The angle table used 170 degrees for the elbow where he expected about 155.
How we fixed it
We corrected the table and reprocessed every pose video.
